DUNKIRK EXPERIENCE

DUNKIRK

Hello, hello!

It’s so nice to be back. This is my experience after watching “Dunkirk” movie, around a week ago. I actually was wanted to watch the another movie. Well, “Dunkirk” didn’t disappoint me.

“Dunkirk”, I don’t know about other people, for me, it is a ‘history-sucker’ without much of words. The director meant it so, I think. I always like any history stories. Even when I was at school. They can make me travel through times, make me imagine how the way of life at that time, how people at that time dress up, how their attitude or lifestyle then, etc. And as someone who from different country, language, and the continent from that history made, their history make me more fascinated or amazed.

In “Dunkirk” movie, I love the way they make it tells the story of the plot–sometimes with dialog. But, there’s more without words. Even without much words, the story tells so much. As a movie lover and an audience, the story gives me a chance to imagine what is actually happening at that time.

I love the way the movie showed me the situation, the fear, the will to survive (with friends or alone), and the labile emotion and mind from the main person or as the main character. That’s important, I think because in this world everyone is a lead character in his/her life. What decision one self will make? What the unstable or not sure of what to do when facing a choice between to live or die–or as that is your last chance. It’s crucial. It’s terrifying. It’s selfishness. Even touching.

The graphic techniques of the movie are really good (I’m not an expert in graphic, it is my perspective as an audience and movie lover) and the story-telling is also an unusual experience with a great result.

I love it, I admire it, and I want to watch it again.

So much satisfaction from this movie.

Human Race in ‘SING’ Movie

I know it’s a late post because this movie was out in December 2016. But, what I like to re-tell the feeling and lesson about this story is how strong the desire of someone (or animal, in this case) can bring him to something he wanted to be.

‘There is always a way’, that’s what wise-ancient people said.

So, he never gave up. Even if he really hits the rock bottom and the naysayers’ word look so right. His big dream and the desire inside his heart never go away. When there’s an opportunity, he is not let it go. Whatever his conditions are. He, himself, change the darkness to lightness.

The animals character, I imagine it as if we–the human–are them. One kingdom: animals, but different species: koala, mouse, gorilla, pigs, etc). We are all actually can live together in peace, but never can reproduce offspring if I am a crocodile and have a partner a giraffe. That’s not gonna work.

And as one and only species of the human being on this planet, I feel so grateful, that we are all ONE. Doesn’t need to bother because falling in love with different species. Except, love for our pets, that’s another special case.
